Mumbai: Sterling Green Power Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (SGPS), part of the Sterling & Wilson Group and a provider of comprehensive power and sustainable energy solutions, has inaugurated its second state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Talegaon MIDC near Pune, marking the first milestone in its multi-location capacity expansion strategy.
The new facility is aimed at serving the Light Horse Power (LHP) market segment while strengthening the company’s manufacturing footprint across India and international markets.
As part of its long-term growth roadmap, Sterling Green Power Solutions also announced plans to establish additional manufacturing facilities at Chakan MIDC in Maharashtra and Hamriyah Free Zone in Sharjah.
Construction work for the Sharjah facility is expected to commence soon, reinforcing the company’s strategy to expand production capacity across multiple locations.
The newly inaugurated Talegaon manufacturing facility has been designed to meet the increasing demand for reliable power solutions across India’s commercial, industrial, retail, and institutional sectors.

The plant will manufacture diesel generator (DG) sets ranging from 100 kVA to 750 kVA, catering to applications across rental businesses, hospitality, healthcare, education, government projects, and industrial operations.
With advanced manufacturing processes, the Talegaon facility has an annual production capacity of approximately 1,000 DG units, primarily targeted at retail customers.
The expansion reflects Sterling Green Power Solutions’ focus on enhancing manufacturing capabilities while addressing growing customer demand for dependable backup power systems.
The Talegaon facility is the first step in the company’s long-term capacity augmentation roadmap.
Future expansion plans include another manufacturing unit at Chakan MIDC and an international production facility at Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, further strengthening Sterling Green Power Solutions’ manufacturing network.
